Part-Time Seafood Cutter / Retail Associate

Hooked on Fish is a family-owned seafood market seeking a part-time Seafood Cutter / Retail Associate to join our small team. We take pride in offering exceptionally fresh seafood and helping customers feel confident preparing it at home.
This hands-on role combines seafood cutting and preparation with customer service. If you have strong knife skills, an interest in seafood, and a friendly approach to working with customers, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll doBreak down whole fish and cut, trim, and portion fillets for retail sale and customer orders.
Handle seafood carefully to maintain quality, freshness, and food safety.
Welcome customers, answer questions, and offer seafood selection and cooking suggestions.
Prepare orders and process sales.
Keep cutting stations, equipment, displays, and the store clean and organized.
Experience filleting and butchering fish is preferred; we’re willing to train the right person with solid knife skills and a willingness to learn.
An interest in seafood and cooking; knowledge of fish varieties is a plus.
A friendly, dependable team member with attention to detail.
Food sanitation certification, or willingness to earn it at our expense.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years old.
